TOXINS In Your Home & In Your Body: It is a FACT

If you care for your family you will not ignore deadly variables that are already saturated in your everyday life. It is a fact that we are personally exposed to up to, and quite prossibly more than 500 chemicals each and every day.

Whether you are a spouse or friend, father or mother, big brother or sister, you must take the lead. John C. Maxwell is renowned for his teachings on Leadership. He is adamant in regard to one point that we must be willing to embrace that will allow us to grow into the role of “leader”. That point is KNOWLEDGE.

Knowledge is power. And, that power could add years to your life or even save a loved one. Case in point: Go to your bathroom drawer. Pull out your favorite toothpaste. Read the label on the back. See if you do not view something pertaining to the following agency – Poison Control Center. Did you know that? Do not take my word for it. Look for yourself. THAT is the first lesson. That is the first step in taking control of your home environment - realization and action. That is your first step in gaining the power to help your family rid itself of deadly Toxins.

Knowledge is POWER. If you decide to do the right thing and allow yourself to become informed with regards to the chemicals that we are immersed in and with daily, I applaud you. This message will reach the masses and at present, we are in the Pioneering stages of this Mission of enlightenment.

I encourage you to become the leader of YOUR FAMILY and step up to the plate. There is an amazing and lucrative business that can be built while helping many, many out there. At the very least, you will want to start taking action NOW in replacing the products you utilize with those that are devoid of Toxins. If you are a leader, embrace this knowledge and do something about it.

To become a member of our cause (if for nothing else to order these Toxin Free products at Wholesale cost!), don’t hesitate to sign up NOW: (click here).

SUPPORT: Why You Must PLUG IN

Network Marketing, for the most part, gets a bad wrap for two reasons.

One: A representative's expectations are not met. This could be defined as anything from unrealistic goals of immediate income to not taking the business seriously. In other words if you treat your business like a hobby, you will more than likely create "hobby-like" income. Unfortunately, Network Marketing is not a money tree, either. You are not going to join a legitimate company and expect a business to be built for you, kicking back and waiting for all of those commission checks to come pouring in.

The problem is that when one approaches business with such a casual attitude, the net result is ultimately failure and many times that culminates in pointing the finger at the industry. "Network Marketing doesn't work!" Guess what? It does. Both history and fact tells us that there are more Millionaires created in Network Marketing than in any other industry. This is simply a statement of fact. Network Marketing WORKS.

Two: The company goes down the tubes. When this happens, people get hurt, big earners get burned, investments are lost. It happens. Unfortunately, again, when this happens, many novices (and veterans alike) feel like, "ok, I tried it, it doesn't work, obviously," and they sink back into the mediocre life of the 9 to 5. Back to the grind and developing a chip on the shoulder against the Networking Industry.

Both instances are unfortunate, and obviously each could be expanded into subcategories and reasoning delved into, however, in my opinion, these are the only two reasons why Network Marketing gets a bad wrap.

We are going to concentrate on the first variable and not touch the second. If a company goes down the tubes, you move on. You don't point a finger at the entire industry because one company was undercapitalized or had poor leadership. If you get fired from your j.o.b. (a great mentor of mine defined a job as 'just over broke'), do you say, "That 'job' crap doesn't work! I'm never going to get another job! They can't do that to me," and retire? Of course not. That is simply rediculous. As is blaming the industry for the failure of a company. If you lose your job, you go out and find another one; simple as that. If a company fails, you go out and find another one.

When the decision to join a company has been made, the key ingredient that one must take full responsibiliy of and the one expecation that you should demand is SUPPORT.

Support starts with leadership. Who sponsored you? The person who sponsored you should be someone who knows the business and product(s) on an expert level, or (this is important, so listen!) your sponsor has the ability to put you in front of or on the phone with their upline sponsor, who is willing to help get you started (and continue to train your sponsor). Too often, one joins a business only to be left alone without support or training, left to figure it all out by him/herself.

My own definition of a leader is this: One who empowers another and offers the tools and support to help that individual become a leader him/herself. Look at the key word in this definition... EMPOWERS. Meaning, to give power to... to offer responsibility... to equip or supply with an ability... to enable. Are you getting this? I'm talking about taking responsibility for your own business. A good leader is not going to hold your hand or beg you to come along or to plug in. That is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. A good leader simply supplies you with all of the firepower that you need to become a leader yourself. The rest is up to you.

A good leader offers you training calls, team calls, events. He/She is available for you (on a realistic level) when you have questions or need direction. A good leader simply empowers YOU to take control of your knowledge, expectations and business accumen so that you can begin (and then continue) to grow a successful organizations for yourself.

Support continues with the company. It is the company's responsibility to remain solvent, to maintain utmost integrity and conduct business with an honest and true MISSION that offers its representatives all they need to build towards success. I would expect a company to have conference calls for prospects, for training and for special product knowledge and introduction. A company should create events on Regional and National scales that offer the representatives the support and team environment that will generate excitement and resolve. In other words, the company should be present, available and active in their support and training of their rep base.

It is not the company's responsibility to make you plug in to this support. Responsiblity for one's own business remains at the core of this support issue. You should demand that a company offers all of the support aforementioned, but plugging into that support rests squarely on your own shoulders.

Another great mentor and teacher of mine was fond of quoting an ancient proverb, "When the Student is ready... the Teacher will arrive." Reread this statement several times... slowly. Allow the meaning to saturate to your inner core. This statement speaks of initial responsibility.

If you want to even become a student (in other words, become successful in your new business by continuing to gain knowledge), you must accept the support, advice and direction that a teacher (your upline, your company, your team) bestows on you; and it is truly your own responsibility to plug into that support.

If you do not participate and support training calls for instance, do you have a right to blame anyone but yourself if you don't have a clue what to do? If you do not attend and support conferences and training events, can you blame the company for feeling like you are on an isolated and lonely island? I would hope not.

3-Way calls are an important aspect of support. A 3-Way call is one in which a representative calls a prospect and then gets an upline sponsor on the phone to speak with the prospect about the business. There is definite methodology to a 3-Way call. First, the prospect should have already been introduced to the company, perhaps listening to a conference call and perused a replicating website. A rep should NOT place an upline sponsor on the phone to "do all the work" or to even explain what the company is about.

It is the rep's job to prepare the prospect and when the prospect is curious and interested, bring upline support in to help close the prospect into the business and onto the team. Also, the rep should set the 3-Way call up in advance. In other words, don't just call your upline sponsor at your whim and expect him/her to be available. This could have and adverse effect on your prospect's outlook on both you and the company if you put the upline sponsor on the spot or simply expect him/her to be there for you without prior notice. If your upline sponsor is a true leader, growing a legitimate business, he/she is busy. Call ahead, plan the 3-Way and then execute that call when you have it planned.

A 3-Way call should entail an upline sponsor or company representative supplying pertinent information about the company, the team, the methodology for training and support and product knowledge to your prospect. Once a representative gets the upline sponsor on the phone with the prospect, the representative should then BE QUIET and not interrupt. Mute your phone if you have a tendency to jump in and interrupt when someone speaks.

Do not interrupt! This is rude, can make your sponsor look bad and give the prospect a negative impression of you. You bring your upline sponsor on the phone for one reason: SHOW that prospect the SUPPORT that you have in growing your business, which translates in thought to them growing their own business. Thus, when that prospect becomes one of your downline representatives, he/she will now have proper knowledge of conducting 3-Ways with YOU as his/her leader.

Finally, with regard to the 3-Way call combined with your own "plugging in" to the Team and the Support offered is simply... NUMBERS. Ever heard the term, "there is strength in numbers"? Well, take this to heart. The more you plug into your group and upline support, the more options you can develop for those 3-Way calls. In other words, build relationships and bonds with your team. In doing so you gain additionaly possibilities for 3-Way calls. In a perfect world your upline sponsor can do wonderful 3-Ways.

However, this is not always the case. Or, you might find that the prospect you are working with would relate more to another member of your team. There is always strength in numbers. Build your business by plugging into your Team and developing relationships that encourage and promote the possibility of utilizing those members for 3-Way calls with your prospect(s).

It is your job to prepare your prospect for the 3-Way and to schedule the call with your upline sponsor; it is your upline sponsor's job to simply verify and cement all that you should have already mentioned to your prospect. Edification is very key to success in business. Make sure that you have edified your upline sponsor and that your prospect has a measure of respect for this leader when you get him/her on the phone.

There are other aspects and points that could be developed with regard to the topic of Support, but the information here, if taken to heart, can create the success and expectations necessary in this business.

The bottom line is that it is YOUR responsibility to choose the company, to plug yourself in and to gain the knowledge necessary to share the products and business concept with the masses. Once you have done this... then you can GET STARTED. That entails getting out of your comfort zone and speaking to any and all about the belief and excitement you have for your new venture. However, that is yet another article!

A company profile: Royal Body Care

A solvent, 15+ year old, heavily funded company, RBC offers a true blue print of what to look for in regards to Support.

Research this company here: RBC (click here)

I am a member and great believer of this company. However, it is important that YOU find that company that best suites YOU. You must look within and figure out your "WHY". Once you are certain that you wish to become committed to growing your own business, look for that company and that Team that offers you the SUPPORT that you deserve.

TOXIC FREE Living: Are You?

My name is Lance Austin. I am a Fitness, Nutrition and Wellness advocate, author and owner of the site www.AbsForLife.com. It has been my lifelong Mission to help others. Fitness and Nutrition have always been a passion of mine, so I naturally gravitated towards this path since playing college football way back when...

I now have a son who is 5+ years old. I guess you could say that my "acuity" for "all things bad for you" in this world exploded, quite dramatically, with his birth. I know that you moms and dads out there can relate. If you do not have children, it might be difficult to understand this natural and overpowering tendency, however, trust me it exists in the atomic-BOOM sense of reality. Simply put: I love my son. And, my "Mission" has not changed, only expanded and intensified.

With this said, I have aligned myself with various companies. The companies that I choose to align myself absolutely must have the very best products offered on the planet. These products not only have to "do and contain what they claim to", but they have to serve and all-natural purpose, free of chemical toxins and help clients attain what they cannot with others.

What you should look for, first, in a company that you are considering purchasing from or working with is their MISSION. What does this entity stand for? What do they offer you? What "good" do they bring in your dealing, association or trading with that particular organization. If you examine your facts, review the research, documentation and efficacy of products or services offered, you can then (and only then) make some sort of logical decision of: Do I want to buy from, become associated with or refer others to this company? Never make assumptions without adequate knowledge. Never judge before you know and understand what that true "Mission" statement is.

I want to provide two things here at this time.

(1) Information that might enlighten and ultimately help you, your family and those you care for.

(2) Introduce you to a company that is truly making a difference with products and services that can make your life better, safer and/or even expand your life expectancy.

I welcome any and all comments, suggestions and communication regarding this subject. Furthermore, I encourage, highly, those that are educated or certified in various aspects of health awareness, nutrition, fitness, overall wellness and the like to take the lead and share what you know. Contact me. Your knowledge and input are appreciated. All are welcome. And, I hope that this information makes your life, and the lives of your family members... better, if not outright expand your life expectancy. All great things have a "beginning". That is where we are right now.

I'll end this beginning with a quote I have strived to live by:

"If you want something you've never had... You must DO something you've never done."

Reflect on this quote. Read into it any and all that YOU wish, as it touches those deep places within "you". Allow the true meaning to saturate your consciousness and allow you and start down a path towards enlightenment to your true, inner purpose and peaceful state of mind, not to mention a more physically fit "YOU".

Now, allow me to ask my first question of you: Are You Living TOXIN FREE?

The average newborn, prior to the umbilical cord being cut, has over 300 foreign chemicals stored in its tiny body. Isn't that ghastly? At the least it is unforgettable, if not unforgivable.

I can make a pretty safe estimation that MOST of us are NOT living Toxin Free. I'll take just ONE product that most of us utilize on a daily basis: Toothpaste. Go grab your toothpaste, turn it to the back, and read what's there. More than likely, you will find this comment or number: Poison Control Center. Yep. That toothpaste is absolutely TOXIC to you and potentially deadly to your children.

I mentioned my son. I have (rather HAD) this Toxic product 3 feet off the ground, in an unsecured drawer by each bathroom sink, within his grasp. And, he LIKES the taste of toothpaste, as do most children I surmise. If he ambles into any bathroom, snatches that toothpaste out of the drawer, peaks around to make sure Mommy or Daddy is not watching, then squeezes off "X" amount into his adorable little mouth... HE COULD DIE. Think about that. Do your research.

There are over 6,000 children who die each year from poisons. Our children, the next generation of adults, are expected to live 8 years less than the current generation. That is the first time in the history of making such projections that the expected lifespan has gone backwards. We are talking about your children. Your friend's kids. Your nieces, nephews, god-children and grandchildren. Many believe that these horrible numbers are attached to the chemicals that have been dumped into our consumer market for decades. Critical mass has been reached, and now we are reaping the horrible results.

Now, you can ask ME a question... Do you think I still have toothpaste within his reach? Absolutely not.

With this one enlightening bit of information, I bet those reading this now will go directly to their medicine cabinet or (worse still) "hip high" drawer and analyze this very common, very accessible and quite "required" personal hygiene item that we utilize in our everyday lives.

The point is this: I started searching for more answers. And, I began coming up with more questions as I found those answers. My conclusion was to start to build a Toxin Free environment for my family, and it is this concept that I wish to share with you and yours.

Are you truly AWARE of the differences in advertisement that bombards you?

You've heard the term "Non-Toxic". Do you really know what this means? All it means is this: there aren't enough toxins contained within to kill you in the prescribed dosage/amount. There ARE TOXINS PRESENT. The clinical definition states that "less than 50% of the lab animals tested died as a result of the testing exposure." Chemicals/Toxins are present; of this, you can be sure. If there were not, you would see the next term of explanation.

"Toxic Free". This is what you WANT. This implies, without constraint, that the contents of the item are DEVOID OF CHEMICALS and TOXINS. Thus, Toxic "FREE". Don't allow slick advertisement to pull the wool over your eyes, although I'm afraid this (in my own opinion) false advertising has already lulled us into a calm and naive state of mind in regards to our personal care, home and even nutritional products we consume and use. You must become aware and start to do your research (and, more importantly, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT).

I invite you to take an inventory of your home. Take note of all the chlorine and dioxin and sulfate laden products that are under your roof. Studies have shown that there is anywhere from 4 to 16+ pounds of TOXIC CHEMCALS under your kitchen sink! Chemicals and Toxins can take the form of obscure "letters", such as MEA, DEA, PEGS. Become Aware! Become informed! More so, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Share this information with others and cause to help make all out there AWARE. Put some action behind your intentions, should you desire to help others become aware, as well. Once you become "Toxin Free", there simply is no going back! Share this information and these products with those around you and point them in the right direction for information on this Toxic Free concept. Whatever you do, please, BECOME AWARE of what you have in your own home, available for your children or those of any who visit you.

There are few companies out there that are completely "Toxin Free", but products like this exist at this moment in time. Do your research!

If you choose not to, please, put that Poison Control Center number on your phone's speed dial... And, hope and pray that you might never need to utilize it.

The last question is: Do you want to take that chance? We are a North American population that has become lulled to sleep through "ify", if not downright unethical advertising and marketing. Isn't it time we WOKE UP?WELCOME any and all to this information site. Be blessed, be safe and remain aware. Act like your family's life depends upon it.

It just might...

FEAR of Business: Your Challenges to Overcome

My name is Lance Austin, fitness advocate, author and owner of the site http://www.absforlife.com. I am a family man, self proclaimed "Average Joe", entrepreneur, motivational speaker and student and advocate of Network Marketing. I met with a rep today and, in the beginning when one "just starts" in a new venture, as always the mind killer must be addressed, defined and slain.

Fear.

Fear of the unknown. Self doubt. Negative "Nellies" whispering in your ear. Bad experiences from your past, what I now call your "wake". Poor decisions, past failures, misunderstandings and misconceptions. Over zealous expectations, lack of discipline, laziness, procrastination, not being responsible, arrogance and compromising character. Lack of support. No leadership. Poor guidance. Unscrupulous sponsors, companies without a Mission or leadership that is willing to “do what is says it is going to do”, opportunities long since past and destined to fail. Personal issues such as debt, bad relationships, job and life responsibilities, health issues and more.

The list goes on and on. There are many, many things that cause FEAR in our lives. Today, we will discuss some aspects that should be addressed up front and immediately in regards to building your own business and the direction you choose to take "YOU" to in your chosen industry. And, remember, you can build a business while working in a day job. Many, many folks do and those numbers are exploding at an astronomical rate! (See article Build Your Own Business… What to Look for” here)

Let's take a few fears today that might help those out there wanting to change their lives for the better through the building of your own business. However, you cannot "do" it while consumed with fear.

1. Fear of the Unknown - This one is first because, in my own opinion it keeps people from even beginning. Traditional business can be a great, lulling machine. I don't mean this in a truly “negative” capacity. Instead, I simply mean that we are a "free world" society that has become pacified by the security that the J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) supposedly offers. For some, the job is their most cherished meaning of existence, and for those I congratulate! However, for many, it is simply a means to pay the bills (and at times, poorly) and a cause for unending disappointment. Yet, many continue to work the 9 to 5 with not even a thought to other avenues of opportunity out there.

WAKE UP! Corporate downsizing, a Social Security system that is failing, falling stocks, a shaky economy, inflation, lack of saving, longer years to retirement and most retiring into poverty. These are only a few reasons why we, as a society, should WAKE UP and TAKE CONTROL of our professional lives. There is more out there for us to take advantage of in our own little worlds.

Network Marketing makes sense. Network Marketing works. Companies fail. Compensation plans fail. People fail. Do your research on this industry. Network Marketing works.

While you married couples both work to make ends meet, put the remote control down and START YOUR OWN BUSINESS. Network Marketing offers the "Average Joe" a very INEXPENSIVE way to begin a business that could turn into a wonderful way to create long term residual income, if not an incredible (and very real) retirement nest egg.

This is not (necessarily) a slam against “working for an employer”. Not at all. There are many folks out there that love the job they work, yet choose to spend their free time on building additional income instead of plugging their minds into the mindless television set. You can do both.

Ask yourself a very simple question: Where do you envision yourself in one year, five years, twenty years if you change NOTHING that you are doing in your world? Still working that 9 to 5? Except the 9 to 5 is more like the 8 to 6 now, right? If you are happy working for and employer, creating wealth for others, and flipping that remote control from this point to eternity, this industry is NOT for you.

If you are not happy with the direction that you have taken (come on... OWN it) your life or possibly just want 'more', consider seriously the prospect of growing a business of your very own through and in the Networking industry. Face the "unknown". Stare that black hole in the face and simply jump off the cliff of opportunity, chance and potential with your eyes wide open. What do you have to lose, anyway? Remember this adage, "When you ain't got nothin' to begin with, what do you have to lose?"

I like this one much better, “If you want something you’ve never had… you must DO something you’ve never done.”

Even if you are "comfortable" with life now... remember some of those "negative aspects" of working a job: Downsizing... Layoffs... Long hours-Long years... And, you still do not own your own time.

2. Misconceptions - Many people don't know the difference between MLM and Network Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and a Pyramid Scheme. Misconceptions abound with regard to understanding what Network Marketing is much less if it is even legal. (It is, by the way and creates more multi-millionaires than ANY other business type out there)

I've always been amazed at the fear many people possess when it comes to understanding what Network Marketing is, and their complete lack of belief in how much this industry could help them in life. Granted, there are a lot of overzealous reps out there, unscrupulous so-called leaders and companies and just plain annoying individuals that bug the devil out of you to "join their get rich quick scheme". However, on the whole, Network Marketing is the greatest gift that free enterprise has ever offered the general public.

Network Marketing creates more wealth in the United States than any other form of business development. Where else can you start a business that could grow into a huge organization that pays you 10's of Thousands of Dollars a month... for as little $500 or $1000 investment, while working full time in your “normal” job? No where.

Many do not get started simply because they do not understand how simple, how powerful, how empowering Network Marketing can be. Education is the key. Combating ignorance with solid answers, statistics, information and genuine sincerity and understanding is paramount.

The "feel, felt, found" technique is tremendously overused. In other words, when addressing misconceptions or when you get an objection, you answer, "I know how you feel. I once felt the very same way. However, what I've found is that..." Just about everyone knows that technique now, but utilizing it without really utilizing it is important. In other words, empathize, remember your own history, don’t be defensive and make sure you don’t argue with your contact. They are probably and more than likely skeptical, not necessarily cynical.

Remember this, a skeptic is someone who wants answers. A cynic is someone who could care less for answers; they only want to listen to their mouth flap about knowledge they think they possess and will never see your point or listen to your reason. Embrace the skeptics, get rid of (quickly!) the cynics. The key is knowledge, having solid data and historical facts that combat the misconceptions your prospect has about this (and your) business.

Network Marketing is real and it is a way for any average person to create wealth on a long term, residual basis. It is absolutely worth taking the time to educate those out there that you identify as wonderful prospects.

3. Negative Nellies - Let's face it: Family has a profound influence on our lives. Be it a mother or father, wife or husband, son or daughter, brother-in-law or nagging aunt, our wonderful and well-meaning (for the most part) family can damage or even destroy a potentially successful future in Network Marketing with some well placed negative barbs. And, these negative influences are resigned to only family. Work place peers, friends, acquaintances, etc. et al can fit the bill, as well.

Negative Nellies are those that whisper defeatist comments in your ear before you even begin your venture. They impart this misguided wisdom on you or divulge information that comes squarely from their own poor decisions of their past. They may simply offer downright fictitious information meant to 'help' you get over this brain-fart of a decision to delve into the highly illegal and always unethical realm of Network Marketing (which is not only unbiased and untrue, but truly ludicrous). It is crazy, but these antics exist at every turn.

Unfortunately, many of us "Average Joes" actually listen to these ignorant ravings; and it kills our spirits and buries our resolve under mountains of tradition of nothingness and poor habits. This is the travesty. This is why in my own motivational talks, I take the tough route much of the time. Meaning, I try to empower others to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for their own decisions. WAKE UP! Develop a backbone and make your own, educated decision(s). In a couple of words, TAKE CONTROL and stop listening to folks who have never been successful in business for themselves.

The bottom line is that there is an amazing amount of wealth to be made in this industry. That next million could be yours. You'll never know if it belongs to you though, unless you squelch those Negative Nellies and tell them once and for all, "BUTT OUT!"

4. Fear of Success - As ridiculous as this statement might sound when you read it, it is a biggie in the realm of building business and we can all be susceptible to it in some capacity of its meaning. God bless our North American tradition of "corporate world", but having that secure j.o.b. can be a back breaker of self-confidence, if you cannot see outside of that traditional world.

Fear of Success entails not having enough confidence in our self to venture off into the unknown with the tantalizing possibilities of what if...? Self sabotage, sloppy effort, lack of personal responsibility/accountability and short lived exertion of resolve and mental fortitude are wonderful adversaries with regard to unrealized (but very attainable) possibilities in building our own business. You must face this variable head on and with absolute resolution to overcome its dark power.

Personal Development is the cure. Immerse yourself in books, calls, seminars and mentors of self development, Life Principle training and motivation. Don't become a sugar-addict of what I call "Rah-Rah!!!" training. Emotions created from such events can be (and usually are) short lived. Especially in light of the reality that is our mundane and every day life that includes real responsibilities, our j.o.b. and so many other factors that can melt that "high" from us within hours.

True personal and self development entails Life Principle teaching, training, mentoring and self-emersion. Meaning, truly buy in to aspects of education that can help you in every aspect of your life, your world and your personal growth in becoming a better human being. Work on YOU; don't work simply on the emotion of the moment.

The way you overcome the Fear of Success is quite simple: Accept the fact that you have the ability, the God-given right and that you deserve all the good that you can create for yourself in this lifetime.

5. Fear of Rejection - This one could very easily be number one on the list of fears. I placed it down the list to emphasize how truly insignificant it really is. This fear is all psychological; it’s in your head! We learn rejection early. Hearing a parent say "No!" when we are growing up. Hearing the teacher or love interest say "No!" in our adolescence. Hearing the HR Manager or Boss or Spouse say "No!" as an adult.

Rejection is a significant part IN our lives; but why make it a significant part OF our lives? Get the difference. We hear the word "no" all of the time, perhaps each and every day. However, we don't have to accept it as a negative that need rule our life.

We should give rejection the respect it deserves: NONE. We hear "no" all of the time! Why allow it to effect us in a debilitating manner? Remember, for every “no” you hear, you are one prospect closer to a “yes”. So, you really want as many no’s as you can get!

Again, Personal Growth and Development are keys to overcoming the Fear of Rejection. You need learn only one word and say it with absolute conviction, strength and a smile in your heart when you hear your next (and subsequent) "no": NEXT!

Remember this, those that get the MOST "No's" will ultimately get the MOST "yes's".

There are a lot more points that can be made on the Fears that exist. But, why give them the light of day? One of the greatest quotes that exists with regard to this subject exclaims that... "The only thing to fear is fear itself."

OWN this.

Network Marketing is the greatest business vehicle of all time. It levels the playing field. It allows the "Average Joe" to succeed like nothing else. Embrace the unknown; accept each rejection with a smile, knowing that a "yes" is only a few more rejections away; quietly but firmly ask the negative nellies in your world to leave you alone; saturate yourself with the knowledge of your business and eliminate the misconceptions that abound in regard to this industry; and, finally, EMBRACE the fact that YOU DESERVE SUCCESS.

Life is short. Don't spend it on the recliner, flipping channels, wondering..."what if...?" Face your Fears head on and start building the life that you deserve. Your future is not lived yet... Why not build it into those things that exist only in your dreams? It all starts with that first step. Take it now, and don't look back until you achieve all that you desire for yourself and for those that you love.

Whatever you choose to accomplish in your life, or aspire to accomplish, do not allow your fears to keep you from ultimate success. Robert Kyosaki has a quote that is, at once, discouraging and enlightening. Discouraging for those who cannot look beyond it and understand; enlightening for those who see the true meaning and take action.

He has expressed, “The problem with Dreams is Reality.”

Is this not so true?! Everyone has dreams! Yet, most do not act on those dreams and make them come to fruition. Their everyday lives and fears take them out of the game before they even begin the fight! So, their own, disappointing reality is that they will never see their dreams come true.

What is your current reality; and what are your long-term, innermost dreams? What you create in your future is going to come to pass. Why not put sacrifice, energy, effort, investment and time into your dreams… and, make them your reality? Ultimate success takes absolutely action, conviction, persistence and belief. Isn’t it time you laid your plans and executed them?

Face your fears. The only true fear you should embrace is the fear of doing nothing. Now, that is something to be afraid of…

Blessings and prosperity to you and yours,

Build Your Own Business? What to look for...

My name is Lance Austin. I am a fitness, nutrition and Wellness advocate, author and owner of the site www.AbsForLife.com. I am also an entrepreneur, motivational speaker and advocate of personal lifestyle development. An incredible way to expand and integrate wealth and positive growth into life is through, with and building your own Network Marketing business.

The Direct Selling Association tells us, through statistics, just why Network Marketing is going to create incredible wealth for many, many "Average Joes" out there who are savy enough and bold enough to take those first steps and become Pioneers in this industry. The stastics are very encouraging to say the least.

The DSA reports that between the years 1993 and 2001, around 18,000,000 (18Million) new reps joined the ranks of Network Marketing. The projections for 2001 to 2011? Astonishing: over 200,000,000 new reps will be coming into this industry. I'd say that these were pretty good numbers to be "in front of", wouldn't you?

So, we can probably agree that creating your own business in Network Marketing is a very good idea. Whether you have a full time job (otherwise known as a j.o.b., or as a great mentor of mine would call it, "just over broke"), are a student, or are even retired, this industry can change your life and your family's lives for the better.

What do you look for? That is the 200,000,000 potential downline population "question".
As a fitness advocate with
www.AbsForLife.com, as a family man, as a spiritual and personal development student, but specifically, as a Realtor, I worked with a client almost three years ago that chose my services to list his home to sell.

This home was almost 7,000 square feet of pristine renovation of an early 80's design, shaped in a horseshoe that opened to a lap pool and intricately designed courtyard from every wall connected to that courtyard. The lot was around 3.5 acres of manicured lawn, with a riding stable in back for a horse or two, and a paved driveway that encompassed the entire property. In a word, it was a magnificent piece of property. All of this sat inside the city limits of the exploding metropolitan city of Austin, Texas.

I never ask clients what they do for a living, so I went about my business, as usual. Every time, without fail, that I visited the property, be it morning, afternoon or evening, my client was playing with his 5 year old daughter, lounging around in his shorts and silk shirt, simply enjoying the life that he had built for himself and his family. I was curious, even envious, however, I did not ask him exactly "what" he did for a living until one fateful day...

I had put over 300 miles on my little diesel Jetta that day and had more than one aspect of adversity that had beat me up just enough to be pretty darned unhappy. Ever feel like that? I showed up to his home around 6 p.m. with, for dramatic purposes, hair astray and shirt tail pulled out over one loop of my slacks. I was not in a good mood, to say the least.

When he answered the door and got a look at me, he asked me if I was all right. On the spot, before I entered his home I blurted out, "What do you do for a living?" He laughed, invited me in, and took me into his office. He offered me what I will consider the very best business advice of my life that day.

I won't share numbers, but let me assure you, this gentleman had become a multi-millionaire through his efforts in Network Marketing. I had met one of the true "giants" in the Network Marketing industry.

He told me he had been a sales rep, similar to my own background, before he became involved in Network Marketing. He had one set of kids that were in high school and college, which he did not see enough as smaller children, and he had his 5 year old daughter that he spent most of his time with now. Even though it is taboo to put this word out there in this industry, he had flat out become rich in building business through Network Marketing.

It was his advice that I wish to share with you now.

This Network Marketing Giant told me that there were 4 (FOUR) variables that had to be in place for you to become financially independent in this industry. He said that you could do "very well" if the first 3 were securely in place, however, it was the 4th variable that could make you wealthy, even allow you to become a Millionaire, as he had.

Variable Number 1 - The Company: The Company had to be solvent and solid. It had to have a proven track record of sincerity, good faith dealing, honesty and business growth. At its core there had to be a Mission and absolute desire to be the very best of the best, what is called "Best of Breed", not only in products or services offered, but in the realm of opportunity, support and training. In other words, the Company had to have the reps' best interest at heart and strive to offer each the tools that would allow him/her to grow into success; which leads to the next variable.

Solid research into the Company is warranted. What is the Company's track record? How do current representatives view this company and listen past the hype and into the heart of what that rep really thinks and believes.

What about a Start-Up? We will get to that in a minute...

Variable Number 2 - The Leadership: The characteristics of the Leadership had to be almost identical to the Company. Those in leadership positions had to have a proven track record of success. More importantly, the leadership had to have, at its core, the desire to support their representatives and offer the very best in training, personal development, support, tools and guidance.

The Leadership had to be "present". There is an ancient proverb taught to me by an incredible mentor that states with clarity, "When the Student is ready... The Teacher will arrive." The Leadership had to be not only accessible, but active in their pursuit of empowering reps with the ability to grow through Personal Lifestyle Development.

Their responsibility ended with their "Leadership"; clarifying, the ultimate success of a representative lay at his/her own feet (see/absorb the quote just noted above until it is committed to both memory and saturated within your entrepreneurial soul). The Leadership had to be equal with the Mission of the Company, and offer each rep the ability to become successful through consistent, persistent and diligent "plugging in" to the system actively taught by the Leadership.

The true definition of a Leader is "one who empowers others to become the very best that they could become if they apply themselves with absolute conviction and unwavering desire to grow." To put it simply, a Leader leads. A Leader not only talks the talk; but a Leader walks the walk.

Variable Number 3 - The Product(s): This is the interesting variable. Based on what this Multi-Millionaire told me, this variable was the "least" important if the 4th Variable was present. Before we move onto that next variable, let's explain a little more about this one, although the next variable will really "tie it together".

The Product(s) had to be at least "above average", but if they were "Best of Breed", obviously you had more of a chance to succeed. There are many companies out there that I would refer to as "cookie-cutters"; many companies offering something very similar to another but with their own twist.

The bottom line on products is this: Are they consumable and does the population have a desire to purchase them? The products need to be consumable for a very obvious reason. You want ongoing sales to a consumer base. And, if that consumer base truly loves your product(s), you will more than likely gain additional income, over time, simply by your consumers sharing your products with those around them.

Variable Number 4 - The Money Variable, TIMING and POSITIONING: You may have heard the term "Ground Floor". There is, according to the Multi-Millionaire I was listening to, an absolute correlation of choice of Company to success of rep, by WHEN you get involved with the Company.

Think about it. If you have ever been involved with a company or you are perhaps now listening to various pitches (and, let's face it, they all SOUND GOOD, don't they?) of the "why" you should join "this" or "that", you have heard or will hear the following: " 'So-n-So' made THIS MUCH money in this company. He/She is earning THIS MUCH residual income per month and He/She has THIS MANY people in His/Her organization!" Sound familiar?
WHO are they talking about? They are, in most cases, talking about those that came in at the BEGINNING of the venture. The Multi-Millionaire explained to me that the Beginning could be defined as getting involved within 2 years of a company's Launch.

Does this mean that you should not join the Company that is 5 or 10 or 20 years old? Maybe. However, would you want to join the Company that is a Start-Up, when, who knows if it will be around in 2 years, right? Maybe.

Let's tackle the latter point first. How do you get around the negative aspect of being in on the Ground Floor, in the Beginning, which obviously begs the question: Will the Company be around long enough to become viable and offer explosive growth? The key is FUNDING. If the variables are in place, the start-up (or young) company must be well funded.

Obviously, the first 3 Variables apply succinctly to this point. Can the Company maintain its Vision and Mission without having to "fund itself" through the representatives autoship or monthly volumes? If the Company is built on a shoestring budget, I would (personally) run the other way.

There is another factor that is involved with Timing and Positioning: New Category of Product. Now, I can explain how the Product ties into this variable. You can be looking at a solvent, debt-free company that is 5 or 10 years old that has integrated, and are the first (which I believe is the true key to success) to integrate a New Category of Product. And, these do not come along often.

If you are lucky enough to find a solvent company that is introducing to the market a New Category of Product, you can hit a home run. Why? The Timing and Positioning could not be better.

The Perfect Opportunity?

Does it exist? Maybe.

Fear is the mind killer. Fear can destroy even the best opportunity for the budding, or even seasoned Network Marketer. But, that is another subject.

So, what is the definition of "The Perfect Opportunity", as it applies to these 4 Variables? Well, you can create your own. I will give you mine here:

A young company that is absolutely funded that is either heading into its launch or is within 18 months of its official launch is key. This company's product line must be both consumable and "best of breed"; there must be a need. The leadership must be not only proven, but willing to get into the trenches to lead by example, to offer the support you will need to build towards success. If you can find The Company that fits each of these Variables without manipulation of these Variables (in other words, don't contrive that a company fits the bill; be absolutely honest with each point of examination), get onboard and don't look back.

Furthermore, strive for and towards perfection in your own Personal Development and Growth. Do not ever be so arrogant to think that you have arrived. There is always room for improvement and one should always wear the hat of Student, even if you have become the Teacher. However, this point remains for yet another article of interest. Stay tuned for more to come, and/or feel free to contact me directly to discuss.

One more point: Don't contact me to pitch me; I am "unrecruitable". I'm always open to suggestion for research. However, I absolutely have lived and breathed the belief in the variables just presented and know I not only have, but offer a home run with what I am currently building. Contact me to learn more.

Regardless of what you "do", if you will apply these 4 Variables in your quest to truly examine and research the company or companies that you are considering, you have a much better grasp of taking the emotion out and can become more capable of applying proven aspects of calculated risk may point towards ultimate success. Because, let's face it, going into business for yourself is a risk. Going into business with those that have a vested interest in your success, that offer support and a company that covers the bases of each of these 4 Variables, gives you every opportunity to achieve that ultimate success for you and for yours.

Many blessings and prosperity to you and yours,
Lance Austin
